Max Galofre

Hometown: Barcelona, Spain

Personal Trainer & Group fitness Instructor

Languages: English, Spanish, Catalan and French

Max discovered his passion for movement and self-improvement at age 5 when he took up Judo at his school. Since then, Max went on to practice multiple other martial arts and several individual and team sports, which continued to set off his endless curiosity for all things movement, from traditional sport specific strength and conditioning to disciplines such as contemporary dance or circus performance.

After years of competing and training for fun, Max moved to Ireland to study Personal Training under great coaches such as Mike McGurn and Karl Gilligan. After graduating with top marks he was offered a position at one of the best gyms in the country where he started working as a personal trainer, while also programming for online clients in other countries, running several group classes in gyms in Dublin and meeting renowned athletes, coaches and fitness influencers.

It was around this time when Max truly fell in love with personal training seeing the incredible effects it could have on people’s lives, realizing that, through training, most of his clients were overcoming a lot more than just physical obstacles. That personal journey is what still motivates Max to help new clients.

In 2019, he decided to move back home to Barcelona to establish himself as an independent coach and continue his education. Nowadays, Max is focused on developing his own skills as an athlete and as a coach, continuing his education and finding new ways to apply it all to make his clients’ sessions and programs more enjoyable and effective.

Daphne Paz

Hometown: Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico

Personal Trainer & Group fitness Instructor

Languages: English, Spanish

Daphne was born and raised in Mexico and currently lives in Barcelona. She completed her university studies in Guadalajara, Jalisco, where she obtained a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. From the beginning, she knew she wanted to focus on sports nutrition to help athletes achieve their goals and perform better. However, it also brings her great happiness to help people achieve their personal goals by staying active while eating nourishing food.

Since she was young, Daphne has always enjoyed exploring different activities and tried various disciplines such as boxing, artistic gymnastics, swimming, and running. However, since the age of six, she specifically dedicated herself to dance, including ballet and jazz. She considers herself to have a competitive spirit, as she has always enjoyed training with a goal in mind, such as competing. Around the age of 12, she participated in several cheer & dance events, a combination of gymnastics, acrobatics, and dance.

At 18, Daphne left dance and switched her discipline to cross training, becoming fascinated with the training methods and the community she belonged to. She competed in three events and continued training for approximately four years. Later on, she wanted to shift her sports discipline to athletics, specifically becoming a sprinter in the 100 and 200 meters. Upon completing her degree and beginning her career as a nutritionist, she decided to further her education in the sports field by taking courses in personal training and biomechanics.

Joining the athletics team, Daphne had the opportunity to work closely with the coach, serving as a nutritionist for several athletes at the sports club who sought to improve their performance and compete. In 2023, she decided to specialize in sports nutrition and moved to Barcelona to pursue a master's degree at the University of Barcelona.
